Why don’t the aliens answer? Imagine a forest, wild predators, roaring. When a naive herbivore, who doesn’t quite understand the environment, makes a sound, they rush in and pounce on it and kill it. So when someone makes a noise, the other lurkers have no choice but to silently pray, “Don’t shout, shut up, shut up, you’re going to die!“

In this theory, according to the Kardashev Scale, when a civilization develops sufficiently and reaches the stage of sending messages into space, it is understood that it will move towards the Type 1 civilization energy level. This means that it will then be able to use the power of its star to become a Type 2 civilization.

At that point, it becomes a strong competitor for everyone. It is thought that there is such a competition to spread to all habitable planets, and in this fight for life, there may be alien civilizations at a very high scientific level that emerged thousands, millions of years before us and ruthlessly destroyed their new competitors.

In short, it is too late for our world that has sent satellites and messages to space saying “We are here”
